맥락영문법. 등위접속사 and, or, but 병치 병렬
and, or, but 등의 등위접속사는 
비슷한 형태의 것들을 연결한다.

등위접속사는 동일한 형태의 것들을 연결해주는 접속사다.

예를들면,
명사와 명사, 동사와 동사, 형용사와 형용사, 구와 구, 절과 절.... 
이런 식으로 동일한 형태로 연결한다.


1. 명사와 명사
  I like tea and coffee.
  I will play table tennis or tennis. 
  He is not my friend but my brother.
  He was a scientist, an inventor, an architect, a musician, and a mathematician.

2. 동사와 동사
  He has no friend and wants to have one
  I usually read or sleep.
  I submitted a question but didn't get any answers 
  Eat healthy, get plenty of physical activity, get plenty of sleep, avoid the bad stuff like cigarettes, alcohol, and drugs, and get a doctor’s checkup each year.

3. 형용사와 형용사
  He is pretty and rich. 
  Am I beautiful or ugly?
  He is not Chinese but Korean.
  Humans are interested and curious in new things.

4. 부사와 부사
  I climbed slowly and steadily.
  I eat slowly or fast.
  He walked quietly but quickly.

5. to부정사와 (to)부정사
  I want to go home and (to) sleep.(보통 to는 생략된다.)
  
6. 원형부정사와 원형부정사
  Let's go and sleep.   

7. ing와 ing
  I saw the student singing and dancing.
  It doesn't matter whether you're standing or sitting.

8. pp와 pp
  Flowers are presented for a celebration such as birthdays and given to Moms on Mother’s Day by children.

9. 전치사구
  We live by time and in time.
  You cant set on the floor or in a chair for lunch.
  I regard him not as my friend but as my enemy.

10. 절과 절
  We separated them again, and she took her goldfish home.
  Go now, or you'll be late.
  They are watching the same movie, but she loves the film while he hates it.

병렬로 연결된 것들을 찾아보자.
1. There is something between you and me.

16. Electricity can then be used to run cars and fly airplanes.

17. They can find out many things about a person from his or her writing.
